●マニー・ラミレス選手が戦線離脱！
シドニー今季の目玉補強だった元メジャーリーガー、マニー・ラミレス選手が、戦線離脱。「理由は明かせないが、慎重を要する治療上の理由」で、当面グラウンド外からチームをサポートする、とのこと。担当医のゴーサインが出て、諸条件が整い次第、戦列復帰の可能性もあります。ちなみに、新型コロナではないことも強調していました。
●新型コロナの影響で６試合順延に
シドニーが本拠地を置くNSW州北部でコロナ患者が多数出たことを受け、WA州（州都：パース）はNSW州住民の自州内への移動に厳しい隔離期間を設けました。キャンベラはNSW州に住所を置く選手が複数含まれているため、パース遠征を断念。代わりにブリスベンの若手選手がチームを編成し、パースと２試合の練習試合を行いました。
また、メルボルンが遠征先のNSW州と本拠地のあるVIC州との行き来が制限される可能性を憂慮し、19日以降のメルボルン対シドニー２試合も順延となりました。
